Before meeting Gayle I had tried a number of teachers, some of them with excellent reputations in London and India, but yoga never really came alive until I started studying with her. Gayle's intuitive, sensitive and phenomenal teaching skills helped me to totally live inside my body and find new depths in my practice. Being a teacher in another field helps me appreciate how talented she is - Gayle makes yoga both accessible and challenging. She brings the spirit of healing and freedom into her classes and all the fellow students I've met, find her an unforgettable teacher. Deborah Poland, Canada
I came to Gayle Olson seven years ago after a traumatic back injury. She shepherded me though those painful days with care, compassion and kindness and an astounding ability to teach on old dog new tricks. Today I can keep up with my two year old grandson pain free and still taking classes and still practicing yoga. Thanks, Gayle!John Tierney, Ph.D., USA
Gayle's yoga classes have helped me through some challenging life transitions. Her hands-on, supportive, enthusiastic way of teaching gently encourages me to try harder, reach farther, go deeper. No matter how I feel when I arrive at class, I leave centered and renewed and ready to take on the day. Yoga with Gayle is a joy! She is a shining light, and her upbeat energy and deep knowledge of yoga is contagious. I have gained strength, flexibility and balance- she even has me doing hand stands at age 60! Pam, USA
Gayle has been an inspiring, lively teacher that has proven to be a steady underlying force in my life. She has a way with words that helps me focus on my body and my feelings in a true effort of open inquiry. I feel safe and loved in her presence. She is energetic, compassionate, and authentic. Her love for yoga is not only conveyed to students in her teachings, but also in her vibrant love of life. With her example she encourages us to look deeply inside, enjoy the never-ending discovery in yoga, and laugh and live fully in the process of it all. Penfield Chester, USA
Gayle Olson is a truly ‘hands on’ yoga teacher. With tender loving care she coaxes stiff muscles back to life, massages and talks to them, persuades them to open up and give up – pointless to resist. In her hands my stubborn body is listening and responding – arthritic knee and all!Laura Graham, Italy
Gayle is overall an excellent teacher, from the technical to the meditative aspects. Her warmth and feminine energy is refreshing!C.V. Amsterdam, Holland
Practicing yoga with Gayle is pure joy. Her impassioned teaching enables me to flow through class and through life with a greater sense of grace and peace. For this I am truly grateful.Kim McCarthy, USA
I have a daily yoga practice at home but have tried to go to Gayle's Gentle Yoga classes every chance I got. I ALWAYS learned something new (even with poses that I have been doing for years) that I could then apply to my own practice. Patricia Recanatini Tierney, USA
