Looking so forward to return “home” to Shelburne Falls, see friends and students, and share yoga together!  A big thanks to Kate for sharing the yoga studio with me to offer a few classes/workshops there. And hope to see some of you out on the Catamount Yoga Hike!

Friday Yoga Class 

Aug. 23 • 6–8 pm at Shelburne Falls Yoga Studio, $20
A dynamic, fun and relaxing asana class exploring action & receptivity, doing & non-doing. Let’s fine-tune our ability to flow gracefully between doing and non-doing — between an active and focused state of mind, to a soft and receptive state. We will play with these energies through asana and pranayama, and discover how to build this capacity of resilience in our daily lives. All levels welcome!

Saturday Yoga & Writing w/ Penfield Chester

Aug. 24 • 11–3:00 pm at Shelburne Falls Yoga Studio, $45
A gentle, creative and internal yoga flow with Gayle Olson to spark your creative juices in preparation to dive deep into guided writing with Penfield Chester. You are welcome also to join just the yoga class from 11–12:30 ($20) or just the writing workshop 12:45–3 ($25). Please RSVP, as Penfield will prepare healthy snacks to replenish us after yoga and prepare us for writing.

Sunday Catamount Yoga Hike      

Aug. 25 • 10 am–12:30  on Catamount Mountain, $10
Yoga in the wild is the most beautiful yoga experience of all!  We will meet at the base of Catamount (199 North River Rd). and begin with gentle stretching and a few sun-salutes in the grass under the (hopefully) beautiful blue sky!  From here we will hike about 30 minutes up to Catamount Lake through forest and trees. At the top we’ll practice warrior, triangle and handful of standing and twisting yoga poses on the rocks, in the fresh air, with a mountain lakeside view!  All levels welcome and no mats needed!
