FLOW OF THE DAY . . .
MORNINGS begin with a silent walk through the olive grove for you to savor the tranquility and feel the rejuvenating power of nature. Our yoga practice will start here, in communion with the ancient olive trees, and move into the beautiful arched yoga sala for a more focused Hatha-Vinyasa practice. Following yoga we will enjoy a healthy breakfast/brunch with local ingredients and fresh Italian coffee on the villa’s terrace with splendid views of the vineyard and valley beyond.
AFTERNOONS can be spent soaking in the sun on the Ionian sea, exploring the beautiful nature of Puglia, or discovering Puglia’s fascinating seaside towns and country villages. There will be three organized excursions to explore the romantic medieval white cities of Puglia, and two Unesco World Sites of Matera and Alberobello, with the “Trulli” stone houses, unique only to this small region in Puglia. Before dinner we will meet on the beach or in the yoga sala for a sunset practice of relaxing flow or Yin Yoga.
EVENINGS are pure magic, as our talented chef and winemakers serve you a healthy and traditional gourmet dinner paired with the organic Primitivo grown in the villa’s vinyard (wine is optional of course!) Savor the sumptuous tastes and simple pleasures of good food, good wine and great company!

Everything about this retreat was special. I have the most beautiful memories, new friends and experiences that I will cherish! The retreat combined the perfect blend of yoga, meditation and fun excursions. I also enjoyed the flexibility in our daily schedule... I had time for myself, to re-align and reflect on my life; as well as meet great like-minded people. Meeting Gayle has been a true delight. Her loving and positive energy was very present and made this retreat a real joy for me. I recommend the Puglia retreat to anyone looking to 'switch-off', re-balance and have a lot of fun!—Hala Darwazeh, Jordan

When I embarked on this yoga journey, I didn’t really know what to expect. I had planned to do yoga, meditate and have time for myself. I experienced that—and so much more! I found a connection with amazing women from around the world that felt closer than I have had in years. We were treated like family, immersed in the local culture, experiencing Italy as a local. Let’s not forget the amazing women who put all of this together, Gayle Olson... thank you so much for creating this beautiful experience for us. Your spirit and teaching skills are unmatched. I will never forget it. — Laura Brodtman, USA
"Healthy hedonism" set the tone for a playful week of yoga and mindfulness, laughter and connection. Our setting, Le Fabriche, oozed with rustic charm and elegance. Quite simply the perfect place to unwind and let imaginations run free. Every meal was a feast for the senses - and let's just say we never went hungry! Nor were we deprived of the finer things like gorgeous wines and luxury shower fittings! But what I especially loved was the collective journey shared in our daily yoga practice. The yoga sala, framed by beautiful stone arches, overlooked the vines and olive groves. Each morning, Gayle guided us through blissful meditation, followed by a combination of vinyasa flow and stretch sequences. She really took the time to tailor the class to each of our needs so it felt more like one-on-one tuition a lot of the time. I'll never forget the energy we created as a group or the peace, joy and friendships which blossom there.— Joanne Joseph, Australia
The Puglia retreat was amazing! I learned so much about breathing, postures, abdominal toning, and loving oneself and beauty. Gayle was a true inspiration to me... through her strength, passion, love and courage, I know that life is full of endless possibilities! —Samantha Brennan, USA
