MORNINGS begin with a serenity walk through the olive grove and rolling fields followed by a Hatha-Vinyasa practice on the yoga terrace with Christine Carville. After yoga we enjoy our French brunch under the shade of trees in the villa’s beautiful courtyard garden. The simple pleasures like sounds, sensations, aromas, and flavors, when brought into awareness, become powerfully healing. This Provence yoga retreat guides guests to seek out each and every opportunity to savor the simplicity. Stress melts away, a sense of gratitude for life envelops and balance in the mind is restored.
AFTERNOONS can be spent exploring the local medieval towns brimming with cafes and rustic restaurants, expanding your palette tasting the peachy world-famous roses or dreamily gazing at the sky as you float in the pool. This is a magical holiday for anyone passionate about yoga, wine, or mindful luxury.
EVENINGS are pure magic, as we share our meal and wine family style under the stars—appreciate the simple life of sumptuous tastes— good food, good wine and great company!

Situated in the heart of the Rhone Valley, near the picturesque villages of Gigondas, Beaumes de Venise and Vaison-La-Romaine, this 8-bedroom villa is beautifully renovated and equipped with all the modern comforts — a feeling of luxury, in it’s loving simplicity. Rooms are offered on a shared basis, though a limited number of single rooms can be accommodated. Each bedroom is decorated with french countryside furniture, with an en-suite bathroom.
You will experience Provence at it’s finest staying in this classic french villa, originally a Benedictine priory dating from the late 12th century. The monks, the Saint-Benoit de Capella, arrived here from Lyons and stayed until the 15th century. Now we will enjoy the same quietude and natural beauty, while practicing yoga surrounded by olive trees and lavender fields in the heart of Provence, France!
YOGA & MINDFULNESS WITH CHRISTINE CARVILLE
Christine Carville, LCSW is a practicing yogini and psychotherapist in New York City. Christine’s vinyasa yoga practice and philosophy can be described as “serious playfulness.” Her classes encourage working from the core, and bringing awareness both on and off the mat. Christine’s clinical education in psychology and neuroscience at Columbia University inspired her to begin guiding clients in integrating yoga and meditation into the daily life to help people improve mood stability, self-esteem, problem-solving ability, and overall peace of mind.
